2005 Mobile Messaging Awards categories

  1. Best Use for Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
    Awarded to the company or service provider that has used mobile messaging to keep customers or users updated and informed.
  2. Best use of interactivity
    Awarded to the company that made the best use of the interactive capabilities of mobile messaging either between individuals or between individuals and an organisation.
  3. Best Content or information service
    Awarded to the company with the product or service for either to consumers or corporate users that provided the best use of mobile messaging to access information.
  4. Best use in combination with media
    This award encompasses TV or radio programme or station or print media and will be awarded to the company that used messaging in ways that most engaged the audience.
  5. Best use in Government, public services or a not-for-profit organisation
    Awarded to an organisation that has used mobile messaging with best effect to provide an effective information or feedback service, alerts or awareness campaign.
  6. Best Enterprise Solution
    Judges will be looking for innovative and practical ways that enterprises large or small have been able to make the best use of mobile messaging in their business.
  7. Best M-commerce application or service
    Mobile Payments systems, vouchers, credit transfer and other innovative ways that mobile phones can be used for payments or transactions.
  8. Best Mobile Messaging Handset or device
    Judges will look for the device that stands out as text input and messaging friendly inclduing features such as easier text input, memory storage and integrated handset software.
  9. Best Mobile Messaging Innovation
    A wild card category looking for great ideas that make a difference to the world of mobile messaging.
  10. Best SMS/MMS network infrastructure or platform
    Awarded for the product that enhanced the existing messaging network. This service will provide greater volume capacity, security or reliability.
