Canadian operator TELUS is the first North American carrier to select Anam's SMART Services Messaging Control to enhance performance of its prepaid text message services.
Telus has 5.6 million wireless subscribers across Canada. "Anam's Smart Services Messaging Control solution will allow TELUS to offer an enhanced services experience to its customers," said Zouheir Mansourati, vice-president Technology Strategy at TELUS.
Anam's revenue generating SMS applications help operators increase usage and revenues from text messaging. Anam's Smart Services include SMS Money Transfer, which allows global money transfers to contacts in your address book, and mobile advertising - placing targeted ads inside text messages as they are sent that offer specific deals or offers.
Gerry McKenna, CEO of Anam says, "Top tier mobile operators understand that SMS is a highly important and significant part of their future business. More and more operators are looking to invest in SMS infrastructure and applications."
