Fourteen African mobile operators have signed with Mobile 365 for SMS inter-connectivity in the last six months.
The mobile operators include Telecel Ivory Coast with over 950,000 subscribers; Telcel Niger, Telcel Togo and Telcel Central Africa; Loteny, Ivory Coast;, Telecel in the Central African Republic; Vodacom Lesotho; Ghana Telecom; Celcom Liberia; SNPT Comores; and Areeba Sudan. Through Outremer Telecom, subscribers in French Guyana have been connected with services in Reunion, Martinique, and Guadeloupe to be launched by the company later this year. A further 130,000 Vodacom subscribers have been connected in Lesotho and over 210,000 through Celtel Uganda.
The three million subscribers of these mobile operators are now able to send and receive text messages from most corners of the world.
