Legion Interactive has launched a website with mobile content specifically targetted at women

The mobile brand dedicated to women will include femininity in games, wallpapers and ringtones as well as regular competitions. By including categories such as Hunkalicious, Naughty You! and über Chic, Mobilechic.com.au hopes it will cater for a wide range of women.
The launch of the site follows the recent UK study by M:Metrics highlighting that of the mobile games being offered by their carriers, 48 percent are sports, action and adventure titles which are least appealing to women.
“Females are large consumers of mobile content, particularly ringtones, and despite this fact we noticed that there was a lack of female-skewed mobile content. Mobilechic.com.au, is all about fashionable mobile content for upwardly mobile women,†said Steven Watson, General Manager, Legion Interactive’s Portals, Content and Entertainment Group.
