Passengers with SNCF French railways can now get traffic and some reservations services with SMS.

The SMS+ service enables travellers to find out whether the train is on time, delayed or cancelled.

If the reservation has been made through the web site Voyages-sncf.com, bookings can be cancelled. Regular travellers can also make bookings.

Sending the message INFO 8991 that will respond with a message confirming the status of the train.

The service costs 0,35 Euros for each enquiry
