The Sendo X Smartphone is shipping with Digia imaging technology that enables the user to manipulate the image in a variety of ways such as add icons and text before sending as an MMS

The software integrates advanced camera and photo album features and enhances the imaging and multimedia messaging experience of the Sendo X by offering creative image editing features.

The technology is based on Digia ImagePlus, which enables the user to personalise pictures taken with the Sendo X built-in camera. The result can be sent as messages over MMS with text captions, clip arts, frames or morphing effects added.

“Having an image editing tool in the device, really enhances the fun of the camera and MMS", says Sander van der Meer, Senior Manager of Applications, Software and Services at Sendo. “This technology fits perfectly to mobile usage. We also liked Digia’s solution because it offers the option to install new sets of icons and frames. Sendo is going to publish the procedure how to create these sets to our Developer Community and we expect to have news sets available soon."
